Dittrick Medical History Center
An x-ray machine from 1928 and an amputating set from 1861 are just two of the artifacts on display at the virtual home of the Dittrick Medical History Center at Case Western Reserve University. You can take a tour of the collections, browse artifacts or learn about the museum's archives.
At the online exhibit "Haunting Images" you'll see photos of medical students at work, usually accompanied by a skeleton or cadaver.
