Where can I see the scene of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s murder?
The influential Civil Rights leader was shot in a room at the Lorraine Motel in South Memphis. After fundraising by the Martin Luther King Memorial Foundation, the small independently-owned motel became the site of the National Civil Rights Museum. The museum was built around the actual motel room where the assassination took place, and the room was left the way it was when the murder occurred.
