How was Cubism created?
From 1907 to 1908, artists Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque and Juan Gris constructed pieces with a certain abstract aspect in which various views of an object were arranged on the surface. The artwork was somewhat influenced by the later creations of Paul Cézanne. The term was coined by critic Louis Vauxcelles, who said Braque's work was simply geometry and cubes.
