Where can I learn about the history of baseball?
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, located in Cooperstown, N.Y., opened in 1939. The Hall of Fame Gallery houses 278 plaques for every Hall of Fame member, while the Hall of Fame Library contains over 2.6 million documents. The museum includes exhibitions like the Babe Ruth Room and Taking the Field: the 19th Century, and the Sacred Ground room is all about the nation's past and present ballparks.
